R.V. College of Engineering (RVCE) established in 1963 is one of the earliest self-financing engineering colleges in the country & is considered as top engineering colleges in bangalore. The institution is run by Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST) a not for profit trust. The trust runs over 25 institutions and RVCE is the flagship institute under the trust. RVCE is today recognized as one of India’s leading technical institution.

College of Engineering has one of the best Debating Societies in India,.Admission Under mangement Quota in RV College of Engineering, The R.V Debating Society (RV DebSoc - as it is popularly known) takes part in tournaments across the world, with success at tournaments such as the All Asians Intervarsity Tournament, UADC, ABP. The society also participates in inter varsity competitions held by Oxford University and Cambridge University. The society also won the 2011 Asian British Parliamentary Debate held at Dhaka, Bangladesh. Since its inception, the DebSoc has won many tournaments in India. RV DebSoc also hosts the R.V Debating Tournament, which receives participation from all over India. The RV Debating Society is proud of being one of the oldest and most active, successful clubs in R.V. College of Engineering.

Team Antariksh is a student satellite team established in 2015 that aims to build a nanosatellite with a research based payload,admission under management quota in RV College of Engineering, guided and monitored by various scientists from the ISRO Satellite Centre (ISAC) and faculty from RVCE. Started by three aerospace engineering students, as of 2017 the team has a strength of more than 50 students from all fields of engineering.Btech admission in rv college of engineering, The flagship project of the team is RVSAT-1, which is a 2U nanosatellite that is scheduled to be launched in 2019, carrying a microbiological payload.

Karnataka Cet or K-CET Entrance Exams

50% of the total seats in RV College is fixed for the Karnataka state students. KEA or Karnataka Exams Authority conducts entrance test for local students who wish to join RVCE.

If you are appearing for K-CET make sure you score a rank less than five thousand to secure a seat in RV College based on merit.

If you secure a seat in RVCE through K-CET, you will be charged with a fess of only ninety thousand per year.

COMED-K Entrance Exams

30% of the total seats in RV College of Engineering is fixed for students from other states as well as for Karnataka students. COMED-K is the organization which conducts an online entrance test for the 30% of the seats in RV College of Engineering.

Management quota

Admission In RV College of Engineering through management quota starts from the month of April and continues till all the seats are full, sometimes the admission process goes on even after the starting of the classes which depends on the availability of seats in the college for the management quota.
