Kalindi College, Delhi

The College has come a long way since its inception in 1967 and is now seen as a destination where students can embrace their future with hope and confidence. Years of hard work put in by all stakeholders show us the way forward. As a constituent college of University of Delhi, Kalindi College strives to cater to higher education to young women with a vision of a new, fulfilling future for all. A nourishing environment supported by a combination of competent infrastructure and a dedicated teaching faculty helps our students to achieve the highest accolades in Academics, Sports and other Extra-Curricular Activities. The college had a humble beginning as ‘Government College Devnagar’; within a year the college was shifted to the present location, again a Government School building, in East Patel Nagar.

The College initially offered Undergraduate Programme Courses in Humanities, Social Science and pure science (Group B). Series of Honours Courses began in 1971. Commerce (Prog.) was added in 1977. Honours Courses in Sciences - Physics (1990), Mathematics (1992), Computer Science (1997); professional course of Journalism (1995); Commerce (1998); reflect the evolutionary flow of Kalindi. In 1997, the College became pioneer in launching Environmental Science along with two other colleges of Delhi University. Postgraduate Courses in Political Science (1987), Hindi (1991) and Sanskrit (1992) were also added in its kitty.

AIPS is an authorised information centre of Bharti Vidhyapeeth and authorised study centre of SHIATS Deemed University. AIPS is more of a "Learning insitution" than a mere "Technical Institution". What is laid in the courses is a solid foundation that prepares the indivisual student to pursue academic or industrial carrer with rigor and innovation. It shall be our endeavour to offer the best to the industry and acedemics by creating new works ethos with perfect blend of western science with Indian values. This is what sets apart AIPS from the rest of the institutions.
