Set up in 1992, Jawahar Education Society’s A C Patil College of Engineering (ACPCE) is a premium technical institute offering graduate & post-graduate professional degrees in engineering & management. More than 2,400 undergraduates & graduate students are undergoing various professional engineering & management courses. The campus comprises 14 degree engineering & management courses.
We are making best possible efforts for development of faculty & up gradation of laboratory facilities to meet needs of modern industries. The sincere & continuous efforts are made to improve Library & placement facilities. We are committed to cater quality education to every single student with very sincere and careful attitude towards development of all our students. We have 214 faculty (teaching staff) members out of which more than 20 are doctorate Professors & others have done their M.E./ M. Tech. from Premium Institutions.
A.C. Patil College of Engineering was established in the year 1992. The full name of the College is Annasaheb Chudaman Patil College of Engineering Kharghar. It affiliated to the University of Mumbai. The Annasaheb Chudaman Patil College of Engineering Kharghar was established in the year 1992. It is a Private College and is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
The College belongs to the Jawahar Education Society which was founded by Shri Rohidas Patil, a distinguished social worker and formerly a Minister in the Maharashtra Government. It offers Bachelor of Engineering courses in Electronics, Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering. The College Campus is spread over an area of three acres with built up area of approximately 52,000 sq.ft. The College is conveniently located close to the bus depot and has all amenities of city life.
The Library provides access to information through more than 16,500 books. It subscribes to over 115 journals at national and international level. It has more than 250 on line Technical e-Journals under AICTE scheme. The Library is equipped with Internet and Multimedia facilities. The Institute is a member of British library and IIT Bombay, Library for the benefit of faculty and students. In addition to these books the Library offers the book bank facility to the First year and economically weaker section students.
It has been set up for the development of overall personality of the students. It gives them a platform to hone their communication and presentation skills, and disseminate information through departmental news letters. Regular meets of senior passed out students provide a platform for exchange of industrial requirements & information.
