Alliance University, recognized by UGC has established several subsidiary entities that offer various educational bachelor, postgraduate, doctoral & certificate programs. Each entity also has its own specific admission procedure as outlined below.
Alliance School of Business offers BBA & B.Com in undergraduate programs, MBA, PGDM, M.Com & Executive PGDM in postgraduate offerings, PhD in management under doctoral programs & a few other courses under the umbrella of other programs.
For Direct Admission in Alliance University BBA programs, students can apply online or collect the Application Form & prospectus from the Office of Admissions by paying Rs 1,000 ( Rs 2000 for NRI & SAARC applicants & USD $ 50 for foreign nationals). Thus amount can be paid either by cash or through Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Alliance University” payable at Bangalore. Students also need to submit an attested copy of their X std marks card & a passport size photograph alongwith the duly filled application form.
To gain Direct Admission in Alliance University for MBA course at Alliance Ascent College, students needs to have scored at least 50% in their Bachelor’s degree (45% for SC/ST) from a recognized University or equivalent apart from a high score in GMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT/KMAT. The Admission Selection process requires students to appear for the Alliance Management Aptitude test (AMAT), Oral Extempore Presentation & Personal Interview rounds.
For Direct Admission in Alliance University into Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), students need to hold a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate from a recognized University & have a high score in GMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT/NMAT by GMAC/AMAT. The selection criteria include candidates having to appear for the (AMAT), Essay Writing, Oral Extempore Presentation & Personal Interview rounds.
The Alliance Management Aptitude Test AMAT has 32 questions that need to be answered in an hour’s time with sections including questions on Analytical Reasoning, Language Ability, Logical Reasoning & General Awareness. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
The Direct Admission in Alliance University to B.Com is based on merit and a candidate needs to have cleared the Pre- University / Higher Secondary / 10+2 from any recognized Board or Council. The Selection Process includes the student’s scores on the Alliance Undergraduate Management Aptitude Test (AUMAT) & Personal interview rounds. To enroll for M.Com, students need to have completed B. Com./BBM/BBA from a recognized university with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) & go through Alliance Management Aptitude Test (AMAT) & Personal Interview rounds for final selection.
