It was established in 2001 it is Affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU, Belgaum). The Department of Physical Education & Sports is well equipped with modern infrastructure and conducts activities like Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Cricket, Handball, Softball, Judo, Football, Netball, Chess, Carrom, Athletics and Martial Arts.
